GCRTA - East 116th Street Station

City Architecture designed a new light rail station along the Red Line in the Woodland Hills and Buckeye-Shaker neighborhood of Cleveland. The new station replaces an outdated and inaccessible station and has undergone extensive urban design studies to better incorporate the station into the surrounding neighborhood. The new station will utilize a precast concrete bridge ramp structure covered with a light sculptural canopy. The project also includes the replacement of deteriorated platforms, the rehabilitation of the track structure, new signage and way-finding, and new landscaping.
