DRAFTSPERSON / PRODUCTION SPECIALIST

City Architecture is seeking an Architectural Draftsperson to aid in production efforts on a variety of project types. Our firm’s work focuses on neighborhood planning, urban design, mixed-use redevelopment, multi-family residential developments and myriad of new construction opportunities and experiences. This position includes aiding our firm in finalizing and leading the implementation of company-wide CAD standards, and assisting in production-related and reporting tasks at all phases of work. We hire motivated employees who recognize the value of collaboration and hard-work in furthering City Architecture’s vision.

The following requirements are preferred:
•    Degree or Certification in Computer Aided Drafting (CAD)
•    Professional experience in an architecture firm
•    Proficient in Autodesk software, including AutoCAD and Revit
•    Proficient in Microsoft Office platform
•    Familiarity with construction techniques and process

INTERN ARCHITECT

City Architecture is seeking an Intern Architect, on the path toward licensure, who brings a strong sense of design and enthusiasm in developing a variety of initiatives. Our firm’s work focuses on neighborhood planning, urban design, mixed-use redevelopment, preservation, multi-family residential developments and myriad of new construction opportunities and experiences.
This position will offer many opportunities for growth and development, which will be accomplished by working collaboratively with staff members, experiencing a variety of project types, and participating in all phases of design.

The following credentials are preferred:
•    Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Architecture
•    1-3 years of professional experience practicing in an architecture / design firm
•    Proficient in Autodesk software, including AutoCAD and Revit
•    Proficient in digital modeling software, including SketchUp and V-Ray
•    Proficient in Adobe software platform

CO-OP

We are always looking for Co-Op students to add to our team for a semester. We hire students at all levels with strong portfolios and a desire to grow professionally.

Students working for our firm will have the opportunity to work on a number of different projects that may range from urban design for neighborhoods to an array of interesting architectural projects. Students will be challenged and supported with work that focuses on revitalizing urban communities and cores. Historic preservation, adaptive reuse, new construction and urban design (at a wide variety of scales) will keep you busy and engaged. Our open studio environment, combined with our collaborative approach, provides everyone a voice in our firm’s design process. You will be involved in all aspects of design, production and interaction. We are a fast-paced organization and you will work on most stages of project development across various project types.

Experience with AutoCAD, SketchUP and Adobe Creative Suite is required. V-ray experience is preferred.
